School Intervention Program (ScIP)
ScIP is an alternative to suspension for students who violate the school’s drug free policy. ScIP provides alcohol & drug education for the middle & high school students who are experimenting with alcohol/drugs or those considered at risk for future alcohol/drug use.
Unfortunately young people are often given wrong information about issues that affect their health & well-being. This “WRONG” information can be very confusing to an adolescent & may even put them at risk for death!
In order to make wise decisions, young people need to be given fact-based information. ScIP provides students with factual, up-to-date information about alcohol & other drugs that will empower them to make better, more informed decisions about their life, health, and future. For more information call BCACD at 828-433-1221.
